Privacy
The short version: this website collects nothing about you. If you email me, I use what you send to reply. That's all.
Who is responsible
Hone Growth is a small marketing business in Hampshire, United Kingdom, run by its founder, Damian. Hone Growth decides how your information is used (the legal term is "data controller").
For anything about your information, write to hello@honegrowth.co.uk. A person will reply.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you.
- No cookies.
- No analytics and no tracking scripts.
- No advertising pixels.
- No forms, no accounts and nothing to sign in to.
- Fonts and images are served from this website. Nothing loads from another company's servers.
Because there are no cookies, there is no cookie banner.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare handles technical details when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, so it can deliver the page and block attacks. Hone Growth does not use this to identify visitors. Cloudflare's own privacy policy explains how it handles that information.
If you email me
The buttons on this website open an email to hello@honegrowth.co.uk. If you send one, I receive:
- your name and email address
- anything you choose to tell me, such as your business name, website and phone number
I use that to look at your website, reply to you, and talk about working together if you want to. The legal bases are my legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you sent, and taking steps you asked for before any contract.
I do not add you to a mailing list. I do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
If you become a client
I keep the records needed to do the work and run the business, such as contact details, the agreement and invoices. The legal bases are our contract and my legal duties, such as tax records.
The work can involve access to your own systems, such as your website, analytics, advertising accounts or customer list. Those accounts stay in your name. I use the access only to do the work you asked for, under a written agreement, and I give it up when the work ends.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that provide the tools I need to run the business, such as email and file storage. They process information on my instructions. Some may store it outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, the safeguards UK law requires are in place.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that go no further: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Client records: kept for six years after the work ends, to meet tax and legal duties.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to:
- see the information held about you
- have it corrected or deleted
- limit or object to how it is used
- have it sent to you or to someone else
Email hello@honegrowth.co.uk and I will reply within one month. It costs nothing.
If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this website starts collecting anything, this page will change first, and the date at the top will show when.
